Just wanted to say how refreshing to see a young actress, poet, etc. who is not being consumed by the media and pop culture machine. That you started your professional writing with Mother Teresa's poem and continue to infuse your work and charitable efforts with a keen awareness of the 'graced' nature of others speaks well of you and your upbringing. I hope and pray you continue being your own person and true to yourself.

Hello Masiela, I hope you and the family are doing well. I'm currently writing screenplays with my best friend. We have just finished one (our first) so far and we're beginning to write two more. I have been an actor in a few movies myself. I've also worked behind the camera as well to get to know the industry better and how things operate. You can check "Imdb" under my name and it will show you some of the movies I worked on although it hasn't been updated in a while. The last film I done was with Timothy Hutton, LeeLee Sobieski,etc.. The film was called "Heaven's Fall." I played dual roles as town person and a State Trooper. By the way, If you're on facebook at all look my name up and send me a friends request. Uh hey Masiela, I really like your poems and how you read them, especially "My minds leopard". I like to think of it as a bad thought that you don't want to think about but it just keeps popping back up no matter how far you try to shove it down, it just surfaces up in your sleep. I want your opinion on one of my poems though v.v I wrote this one when I was feeling like I didn't belong here.

Wipe away the stain

I am made of clay,
paper, pens, and paint

I just started watching George Lopez show about a year ago last night they showed one I had not seen where George did want to see doctor about life insurance and then he had dreams about his family in leave it to beaver the munsters and the jetsons it was really funny had me laughing because I used to watch them shows when I was little the show were in was real funny I was wondering at one point you were the daughter and then a little bit later they had a niece and you were no longer seen did you leave for other projects or to do films I saw that movie blood and I saw you in it like I said I love to watch movies I just saw splice -
