Love Equals Writing Contest
Masiela was a judge at the 2007 Love Equals writing contest, along with Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Paul Newman, Rainn Wilson, John Lithgow and more.
"Experiencing the lives of young poets through their stories and figures of speech was a privilege for me," says Masiela. "There was a frothy sweetness to the netting of their words, and it was a refreshing experience I hope to relive in the future."
Love Equals is a writing competition for children from 6 to 11 years old. To enter, children write a letter, essay, story or poem explaining what love means to them. The Celebrity Judging Panel determines the winner, and prizes are given at a star-studded Valentine's Day Awards Ceremony.
