Illuminary Pictures is in Business
The Burbank Leader reported that Masiela’s Illuminary Films is taking meetings with Hollywood studios. Masiela is president and CEO of the new production company, and Nick LoPiccolo has been promoted to president of marketing and production. Prior to joining Illuminary, LoPiccolo served as a production executive with Lopo Entertainment, an artist management and consulting firm, and with the Bozmedia Group in New York City, where he worked with Fortune 500 companies and studios.
Illuminary Films will develop and produce film and television material with commercial appeal. Some of the films currently on their slate include “On, Cupid!” a story about Santa’s only daughter; “Angel Hair,” about a German girl fighting to survive in the Ravensbruck concentration camp during World War II; and “Yellow Rose of Savona,” a story of love, betrayal and sacrifice during Benito Mussolini’s reign of Italy.
